Gwen will fight for the issuance of tax-exempt cards (similar to those issued to Veterans) unless and until former felon voting rights are restored.

Yet, in 2016, over 6 million people were denied the right to vote due to their “status” as a former felon.  Felon disenfranchisement is another cheap trip; another literacy test; another grandfather clause.  

ANY PERSON WHO, BY OPERATION OF LAW, IS DENIED THE RIGTH TO VOTE SHOULD NOT BE TAXED BY THE DENYING GOVERNMENT.
